WHS proudly offers both virtual and in-person one hour private training sessions!
In-person training sessions are offered at the Wisconsin Humane Society Milwaukee Campus, and on a limited basis at the Wisconsin Humane Society Racine Campus. Virtual sessions are available to everyone!
We utilize reward-based, positive reinforcement strategies to improve the lives of animals and the people who care for them. Private sessions are an excellent option for dogs who would not be comfortable in a group class setting. They are also a great option for anyone who wants to work on a targeted training plan specific to their family and situation, or would like a high level of flexibility with scheduling.
Topics that can be covered in private sessions through WHS include, but are not limited to:
- Basic manners
- Pulling on leash
- Coming when called
- Jumping
- Counter surfing
- Reactivity
- Fearful behaviors
- Separation anxiety
- And more!
