Pet Walk MKE

Veterans Park, Milwaukee
Pet Walk is the Wisconsin Humane Society's annual family-friendly run/walk to raise funds for animals in need. The event kicks off with a 5K run/walk or a 1-mile walk followed by a post-race festival featuring musical entertainment, food trucks, vendors and exhibitors, contests, games, and plenty of fun for the whole family. Leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome to join, but not required.

Paws & Claws Gala

The Paws & Claws Gala is the Wisconsin Humane Society’s largest fundraising event of the year. Held at the historic Pfister Hotel, the event is attended by more than 400 business leaders annually and features a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, raffles and games, wine pull, formal dinner, and program. Did we mention that it’s also the only gala in town where you can mingle with shelter pups, our favorite felines, and some of our very best wildlife ambassadors? You don’t want to miss this!

Pet Walk is the Wisconsin Humane Society’s annual family-friendly walk to support animals in need. This fun-filled event is the largest and oldest fundraiser for animals at our Green Bay Campus, and features a leisurely stroll through the park, as well as music, local vendors, a pet costume contest, family-friendly activities, plus games and treats for our four-legged participants! Leashed and well-behaved pets are welcome to join, but not required.

Holiday Bingo Extravaganza!

Kick off the holiday season at our annual Holiday Bingo Extravaganza! This fun-filled night starts off with a buffet dinner followed by a variety of raffles, silent auction, and Bingo, of course! Then all are welcome to join the fun on Sunday morning at Peterson Park for activities, music, and of course a walk around the park. Pets are welcome, but not required! All proceeds directly benefit the animals at the WHS Door County Campus.
