Ways to Give
Make a Donation
The Wisconsin Humane Society receives no general government funding and is not affiliated with any national animal welfare organizations, such as PETA, HSUS, or ASPCA. We rely entirely on the support of generous people like you! Access our secure donation site here.
Monthly Giving
Monthly donors – or what we call “constant companions” – are so incredibly important to the work we do at the Wisconsin Humane Society. These amazing folks designate an amount that is automatically donated to the shelter each month. It’s very easy to set up, just fill out a form and you’re done! Learn more about our Monthly Giving program here.
Memorials & Honorary Gifts
Honor a friend or celebrate the memory of a loved one by making a contribution in their name to the Wisconsin Humane Society. Learn more about memorial and honorary gifts here.
Planned Giving
Estate gifts, commonly called "planned gifts" include bequests, securities, charitable trusts, life insurance, retirement accounts, and more. With thoughtful planning, you can create win-win solutions for you and the animals at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Learn more about planned giving here.
Attend an Event
Whether you're attending one of the Wisconsin Humane Society's own events or participating in a fundraiser for WHS out in the community, you can make a difference for animals in need! Check out the upcoming events benefiting WHS here.
Start a Fundraiser
From a bake sale to online fundraising or a supply collection drive, there are lots of ways you generate much-needed donations for WHS! Get ideas for your next fundraiser here.
Utilize a Donor-Advised Fund
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving program that allows you to combine the most favorable tax benefits with the flexibility to support your favorite causes. If you have a DAF, you can make a gift directly through DAF Direct to support WHS. DAF Direct currently facilitates gifts from donors of Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, and the BNY Mellon Charitable Fund. More national and community foundations may be added in the future.
