Winter - Video & Benchwarmer!

This dog is one of the many wonderful animals available for adoption at WHS. Despite their great looks and lovable personality, they have not found a new home yet and have become a benchwarmer. To get them back in the game and into a home, we have reduced their adoption fee. We know they will make a great addition to someone’s family – come meet them today!

Winter is available for adoption through her foster home. Here is what her foster parent has to say about her:

Winter is a gentle, affectionate companion with a fondness for leaning her whole heart - and occasionally her whole body - into those she loves. She sleeps soundly through the night, and insists on sharing her warmth without ever stealing the covers. Winter is adored by her 13-year-old foster brother and his entire social circle, greeting each visitor with polite enthusiasm and a smushy face. She is also on excellent terms with the resident cat, and knows sit and stay! Once comfortable, you'll start to hear her charming grunts, sighs, and tiny whines - reserved exclusively for moments when she misses her beloved boy or believes dinner is late. Her hobbies include car rides, stuffed toy deconstruction, snuggling with unwavering commitment, and walking on a front-clip harness.
