Pipevine Swallowtail

From his foster family:
Pipevine Swallowtail is one of the most affectionate and gentle cats I've met. It turns out that he was named after a stunning butterfly- which makes sense because he's super social. He was seeking me out the very first day and is always popping out to say hello with his quiet meows and then asking to be pet or brushed. He loves to sit next to me and purr on the floor or just be close by in the same room and take a nap. He likes to sleep in a random box of tissue paper under the bed and seems to like sitting on paper elsewhere too. He is very relaxed, or maybe lazy, and I have only seen him push a toy or two but then lose interest. He also likes my dogs, but doesn't overwhelm them. He free-feeds well so far and has been getting back up to his goal weight slowly but surely. He uses the litter box consistently and has only jumped on one piece of furniture to get my attention. I haven't been able to get him to jump onto my lap just yet, but maybe that's not his thing! Please email at Astanton10@alumni.uwosh.edu with any questions!
