Nod - Video!

From his Foster Family:
Meet Nod, a 12-year-old gentleman who's ready for his forever home. He's tender. He's polite. He's sweet as can be. Trust us, you'll be giving him the "Nod" in no time!
This beautiful boy may start out shy, but he warms up quickly and shows you just how affectionate he can be with soft purrs, warm naps, and lots of friendly head bumps. He's calm, gentle, and perfectly content to keep you company while you work or relax. Nod enjoys chin scratches, cat TV, napping, and using his self-grooming brush and scratch pad.

Nod would thrive in a tranquil household where he can relax and enjoy the luxurious life he deserves. His sweet nature makes him a soothing presence, and his slow-paced charm is sure to win you over.

Don't wait... email Nod's foster family at megansfostersmke@gmail.com to schedule a meet-and-greet. We're confident you'll fall in love.

5 reasons to adopt an adult/senior pet (like Nod!):
- They'll help you slow down. We live in a busy world and a cat like Nod understands the importance of taking it easy and enjoys a slower pace with lots of rest and relaxation.
- They are independent and know their manners. Since he's learned the ropes already, Nod will remain perfectly content without supervision while you work from home or go out and about.
- You'll pretty much know what to expect. While the personalities of kittens change as they grow up, personalities of adult animals are formed. That doesn't mean adult cats can't learn; in fact, they can be amazingly adaptive.
- They'll be forever grateful. It can be more difficult for some pets than others to adjust to new things, and adult/senior pets know what they're missing when they have a life change but all Nod needs to know is that he's safe and cared for again, and he'll love you forever.
- You're helping an animal in need. All animals in shelters need loving homes, but the demand is particularly high for adults/seniors. Deciding to help a cat like Nod means you're helping an animal in need, all while enjoying the many perks that come with bringing an older pet into your home.
