Grace

From the foster family:

"Grace is a big girl with an intermittent attitude. She's working on losing some pounds with diet and exercise. Which is going well, since she's still young and has plenty of playful energy! She enjoys playing with mice and sparkly balls by herself, but appreciates a good fishing pole play session with her person. She also loves sitting in a cozy spot near a window, watching outdoor wildlife and neighborhood activity. Grace is not a lap cat (as far as we can tell), but she does enjoy petting and attention from her human on her terms. The thing you need to know about Grace is, she can be hot and cold depending on the moment. She would do best with an owner who has some experience with cats and can read basic body language. Sometimes when you approach her with the intent on petting her, Grace will chirp happily and be open to petting. Other times, she will not be in the mood, letting you know she needs some space. Grace's grumpy moments are reducing in frequency the longer she learns to trust her foster parent, so this grumpiness may be temporary. Grace is currently taking gabapentin twice a day mixed in with her food which helps her maintain a more chill attitude."
