Jelly Bean

Here's what Jelly Bean's foster parent has to say:

Jelly Bean is a shy sweetheart who is learning to trust. When people are around, she prefers to quietly observe from a cozy hiding spot, but recently she has started accepting treats and even enjoying gentle pets on her forehead, cheeks, and chin. She has offered some soft purrs (and maybe even a little happy drool - shh, don't tell her we noticed!).

When she thinks no one is watching, Jelly Bean's playful, curious side shines. She stretches out to soak up the sunshine, watches the world out the window, sniffs out hidden treats, plays with her toys, and practices parkour - she once scaled her scratching post to leap onto her cat tree! She likes to talk to herself with happy trills to let everyone know she's having a good time.

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
