Chevy Chase

Chevy is a sweet long-haired tabby kitten with cute little hair tufts that come out of his ears like his sister Gilda. What makes him unique is his golden brown eyes that match his nose and like his sister Gilda, his tabby markings show up within his whiskers and they end in little stripes on his belly ... he too loves belly rubs.

Chevy loves to be talked to and will then chat back at you along with his sister Gilda. He is very outgoing and will leap on your back or perch above your shoulders as you sit in a chair. At times, Chevy can be a little mouthy and go for the top of your head/hair but can easily be redirected with a toy.

Chevy also loves to give head butts on your face when he is cuddled in your lap and as you pet him, he becomes a lean mean purring machine.

Chevy is quite the investigator and is always on the go go go with his siblings to explore and check out new things. He loves to be the first to chase after tossed toys, run up and down the cat tower and in/out the kitty tunnel after his siblings and then ending in a wrestlemania match with his sister Gilda.

Chevy loves to play with just about any toy, but especially rings with balls that go around and around and pursuit of soft toys tossed in the kitty tunnel to chase. He would love to remain with any of his siblings as they play together all the time or go to another home with a kitty to play with.
Chevy is with a foster family, but waiting for his furever home.

It would be wonderful if he could be adopted with any of his siblings, but not a requirement. If you are interested in giving him a loving home, please email simba@wi.rr.com

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
