Comments from Handy Dandy's foster parents - Handy Dandy is a big handsome guy with a personality to match! He is a confident, happy cat who loves being petted and brushed, getting belly rubs and chattering to you about all of it (he's a talker, making little peeping sounds whenever the mood strikes).

At our house HD loves to watch out the window, enjoy a rousing game of feather wand or even get a little crazy playing with his catnip toys. HD uses his litterbox like a champ, is a good eater (kibble only--no wet food!) and is a fan of his scratching post (good boy!).

One of Handy Dandy's special attributes is that he is polydactyl, meaning he has extra toes on his front paws that make him look like he's wearing little mittens! They don't require extra care except for a few more nails to trim.

HD has had positive interactions with our resident dogs and cat, treating them all with friendly curiosity. Based on this, it seems he would do well sharing a home with other dogs and/or cats...as long as their feelings about him were mutual.
