Brie - Benchwarmer, Video & Staff Pick!

This dog is one of the many wonderful animals available for adoption at WHS. Despite their great looks and lovable personality, they have not found a new home yet and have become a benchwarmer. To get them back in the game and into a home, we have reduced their adoption fee. We know they will make a great addition to someone’s family – come meet them today!

Brie is Kayla's Staff Pick! Brie is a dog whose spirit is as boundless as her energy. She's a ball of joy, always ready to play and chase tennis balls. Brie's friendly demeanor is infectious and her goofy antics will have you laughing in no time. Her playful nature ensures there's never a dull moment and will be a companion who will fill your life with love and laughter. Brie's energetic personality is perfect for those seeking a lively companion, especially one who is looking for a water loving pup (she LOVES pools!). Stop in to meet Brie today!

Brie previously spent some time in one of our wonderful foster homes for a shelter break! Here is what her foster parent had to say about her:

Brie gave one bark when some guests came over, but after submitting to mandatory sniffing, every person was a new best friend! Brie got four walks daily, roughly ten miles total per day at lots of different parks! When given the option to jog, or slow down to sniff, she chooses the slower pace to investigate everything around her. She was excited to ride in the car, but needs to be contained (either a kennel or seatbelted in by her harness) for safety; otherwise she might try to make herself a lap dog and kiss your face while you drive. Her playstyle is certainly rough and tumble. She is 100% good-natured, but has puppy energy and appears to be training for the doggy olympic biathalon in tug toy and ball fetch! She is intensely affectionate. Brie wrote the textbook on "How to be a velco dog." Following her people everywhere is insufficient; she demands physical contact (including sleeping in bed with you)!

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
