From Morty's foster parent:
Morty is very shy, but has started opening up more recently. He's a chill, gentle cat who spends most of his time relaxing in his cat tree; however, he has started allowing me to pet him and can be coaxed out of hiding with a few cat treats. He's fine with being on his own at home while I'm at work, and happily seeks affection when I get back. When he feels like socializing, he's a very sweet cat who will nuzzle your hand for attention and loves being scratched on the head.
