Teddy girl is a small, smiley wigglebutt who will happily play fetch or cuddle with you all day (especially if you're a woman). Teddy will do best if new visitors give her time to warm up, when they enter the house. She is perfectly happy to hang behind a babygate and receive treat bribery as she warms up to them slowly. In foster, she lived with my husband, toddler boy and resident dog and did wonderfully with everyone after a couple days of slow introductions (this is key!). Your patience will pay off though, she's affectionate, playful and respectfully sticks to toys that are hers. She played well with our resident dog, enjoying a chase/wrestle session but is good at relaxing if everyone else is too. She seems to have caught on to the housetraining thing (but benefits from a potty schedule and may have a few accidents when transitioning out of the shelter). She did have free roam in the foster home but she should earn that right in her new home and she enjoys access to her crate where she naps and sleeps at night (in sight of you is her preference). She cannot live with cats.
