Birthday Parties

*Due to summer camp programs, birthday parties will not be available June 1 - August 31.

Birthday parties are now available in-person and virtually!*

The Wisconsin Humane Society offers fun-filled birthday parties for kids ages 6-12! These convenient packages take care of all the details so you can just bring your guests and enjoy. All of the proceeds from your party help to provide food, shelter, and lifesaving medical care to animals in need.

In-Person Parties

Every in-person party package includes:

  • Invitations
  • Birthday cake & beverages
  • Tablecloths, plates, forks, napkins, and cups
  • Exclusive Adoption Avenue tour
  • Party host to assist
  • Visits with animal guests!

In-Person Package pricing:

  • Spaniel Package | $225* | Includes everything listed above
  • Great Dane Package | $275* | Includes includes everything listed above PLUS cheese pizza
    Add exclusive WHS kid’s T-shirts to any package for only $15 per shirt!

*Prices are for up to 10 children, including the birthday child, and four adult chaperones.
At our Milwaukee Campus only, there is an option to add up to four additional children for $10 per child (maximum per party is 14 children and five adult chaperones).
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking and applied to your balance.

Parties are 2 hours long and held Saturdays from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. at our Milwaukee, Racine, and Ozaukee Campuses. For best availability, please contact us four weeks in advance to book your party.

PLEASE NOTE: All guests must be at least 6 years old to attend. Younger siblings of the birthday child only who are under the age of 6 may attend at no additional charge. We are unable to accommodate younger siblings of other guests to attend. Thanks for your understanding!

Virtual Parties

We also offer fun virtual birthday parties for kids turning 6-12 years old to celebrate from afar with their friends and family!

Each virtual party includes:

  • An exclusive birthday swag box mailed to the birthday child, including a WHS t-shirt, a plush dog, a children's book, a birthday card, and other fun goodies!
  • An online tour of the adoption area at one of our campuses 
  • A virtual meeting with at least one animal at our shelter
  • An interactive game for your guests
  • An option to have our staff sing happy birthday to the birthday child
  • A digital party favor (an exclusive WHS birthday coloring sheet) to share with each guest.

Virtual Party Pricing: $75

Parties are approximately 30 minutes long and are offered on Saturdays between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. CST. Dates are subject to availability.
