From his foster field trip:
Junior is a sweet, laid-back guy who may be a little shy at first, but quickly settles in and shows what a great companion he is. He was excited to go for a car ride and was perfectly happy to accept a little boost getting in. He was an excellent passenger, lounging in the back or looking out the window the whole way. He even took a little nap on the way back. At the park, Junior initially took his time sniffing and exploring, but once he got comfortable, he was a fantastic walking buddy, strolling right by my side without pulling on the leash. He's gentle when taking treats and really enjoys a good water break, especially when it comes with a chance to lie down and take in the scenery. Junior did well with people and bikes passing by and showed interest in saying hello to folks along the way. He was really easy to hang out with, and is a really great young dog with a calm, thoughtful nature. I really enjoyed spending time with him.

Aren’t sure if they’re the right fit for your team? You can take any benchwarmer dog home for up to 7 days on a tryout! If you fall in love, you can complete adoption paperwork online from home! If it doesn’t work out, you can bring them back, and they’ll have benefited from a shelter break and the “home-court” experience!
