Meet Tarzan, a chubby-cheeked young male who does not live up to his name. He isn't confident or adventurous or independent (like Tarzan)-instead, he is adorable, sweet and shy, although he tries SO HARD to be brave! You see, Tarzan loves human attention, but only if he is given the time and space to fully trust his people first.
At our house Tarzan LOVES a rousing game of feather wand with his human, or is content to entertain himself with ball toys, his catnip banana or just watching out the window. Once comfortable, he seems to really enjoy hanging out near people, with the ultimate goal of a long petting or brushing session (he even loves a good tummy rub!).
Tarzan uses his litterbox like a champ, is a good eater (both kibble and wet food), and is quickly learning the merits of a scratching post. He has not met our resident cat or dogs, so it's hard to tell if he would be a good candidate for a feline companion-but based on his shyness and aversion to quick movements, he likely would not be a good match for active canine or young human siblings.
If you have time and patience to give a sweet boy in exchange for long-term love and loyalty, consider Tarzan. E-mail mollysfosterpets@gmail.com with inquiries.
