From Hank's foster parent:
Hank and I spent a beautiful afternoon taking a long walk along the lakefront. He's a goofy puppy in a grown-up body — complete with adorable forehead wrinkles. Hank was excited to hop in the car and head out on an adventure. He happily sniffed every interesting smell, splashed through the water, and soaked up every minute away from the shelter. Water might just be his favorite thing-he loved wading in and even stuck his whole face under a running water spigot for a drink!
Hank really enjoys long walks, but he'll let you know when he's ready for a little break by simply sitting down for a bit. It doesn't take too long before he's ready to keep moving on. He is a strong boy who can pull on leash a bit, but was unfazed by runners, cyclists, and the busy lakefront. He also noticed other dogs with excitement and curiosity but didn't seem reactive. Hank would benefit from continued training to help his personality continue to blossom. He doesn't seem to know many cues yet, but he's eager to explore the world.
If you're looking for a fun-loving, young dog with a playful spirit, check out Hank.
