If you're looking for a loving companion who can keep up with all of your adventures in life, Stitch is your guy!
This 4 year old sweetheart is wicked smart, very active, and deeply affectionate. He's incredibly agile and athletic and LOVES his tennis balls. He would love nothing more than to play fetch all day if he could. Stitch is a great listener and very quick to learn. While in our foster home, we have been so impressed watching Stitch show us what he can all do! Stitch would thrive best in a home where he has opportunities to exercise his mind and body.
Being around Stitch has given us so much joy. He is energetic but he also appreciates quieter moments where he can cuddle up to you. He is a total Velcro dog and wants to be around you. He loves people and will wag his tail and wiggle his but when he's shown affection. Cuddles from Stitch and just about as good as it gets – he really leans into you! You can really feel his appreciation for you when he's being loved.
Stitch has shown great manners while in our foster care. He has been very quiet, has shown great leash manners, and has not had any accidents inside our foster home. All dogs come with their quirks and Stitch is no exception. As is typical of herding breeds, Stitch would thrive best in a home without cats or small animals.
While we've only known Stitch for a short time, the love we feel for him is immense. He's very special and we feel that in an attentive environment, Stitch's companionship will be a mutually fulfilling one. If you're looking for a ride-or-die, best bud, do everything together, kind of dog. He's right here.
