A balance of affection and independence. She's a roommate who takes friendship seriously and expects mutual respect. She shows affection by rubbing against you and nuzzling her head on you for minutes, then settling about a foot away. She can get nervous about her space and give a gentle warning for a break from touch while still wanting to lay nearby to keep you company. It's as if she says "I love you" and like a social introvert, needs her personal bubble of space without losing the companionship vibe in the room.
