From the foster parent:
My name is Annie May, and I'm 10 years young. My foster mom says she's never seen a dog settle in so quickly. In my foster mom's home I get along great with all the senior dogs, and I'm not picky when it comes to food-I especially love my treats!
I stay close to my foster mom and dad and come when I'm called. While I enjoy curling up for naps next to my humans, I've also been doing really well sleeping in my own space. I'd be happiest in a home where my people are around more often than not.
I've already mastered the doggy steps at my new home and am making great progress with potty training-I'm a fast learner! My foster mom was especially impressed when I took a bath on just my second day and handled it like a champ.
Like Orphan Annie, I may have had a tough start in life, but you'd never know it. I have a warm, loving personality, and my foster mom says I'll bring so much happiness to any family. There aren't any kids in my current foster home, but my mom doesn't think that will be a problem. I might need a day to warm up, but once I do, I'm as sweet and affectionate as can be!
