Amor is an incredibly intelligent goofball with an adorable face and a serious desire to be your best friend. He absolutely thrives on companionship and is happiest when he can be right by his people's side. This silly guy loves playtime and has an especially hilarious way of romping around with his plushies – rolling around and snorting his way through the entire production. When playtime is over, he is more than happy to snuggle up as close as physically possible and melt your heart. Amor is a dream on a leash and very rarely pulls. He is highly treat motivated and eager to learn. He already knows "sit" and "paw" and takes his medications like an absolute champ! One of my favorite things about Amor is what a great little supervisor he is. As someone who works from home, I've loved watching him patiently lounge nearby while I get my computer work done. He doesn't need to be the center of attention every second-he just wants to be included.

Aren’t sure if they’re the right fit for your team? You can take any benchwarmer dog home for up to 7 days on a tryout! If you fall in love, you can complete adoption paperwork online from home! If it doesn’t work out, you can bring them back, and they’ll have benefited from a shelter break and the “home-court” experience!
