Lulu spent some time with a foster on a field trip and this is what she had to share about her:
Lulu is a sweetheart. There is really no other way to describe her. She would love to just curl up in your lap, soak up all of the love, and occasionally give you kisses. When I took Lulu out on her field trip, she was extremely well behaved and well mannered! She did not pull on leash or jump up on people. She was friendly and respectful with everyone we encountered at Home Depot and people on the street. Lulu had an especially great time meeting all of the Milwaukee firefighters and leaning into them for lots of pets. At Speed Weenies lure course, Lulu showed off her athleticism. She is fast! But when walking, Lulu takes her time. She likes to sniff and observe and stay close to you. If you stop to sit on a park bench, Lulu will gladly sit on your lap and cuddle. Lulu would benefit from a family who would be patient and encouraging with her, as she hesitates with unfamiliar things, like she may need you to lift her up into the car, but once strapped in, she is an A+ passenger. I really loved Lulu, and whoever adopts her is going to have a very special, loyal, sweet companion.
