From the Foster Family:
"Grace sashays/on tufted cat feet./She sits looking/over driveway and garden/on silent haunches/and then moves on."
Grace takes up space. She saunters into a room, announces that she is here and this – this bed, this room, this house – is now her spot, and sprawls, stretching her big fluffy feet in front of her and laying her head between them.
Grace owns the room.
But Grace – Grace will catspread by you and then she will come when you call her because after taking up space, her next favorite thing is attention. She loves to be petted and scratched and brushed and will rub her head on the brush if you leave it on the bed. If your hands aren't free, she is happy just to chat with you. She will sit by you when you read and she will sleep by your feet. She gets annoyed if she is denied access to the bedroom and will make her displeasure known. You will surrender.
She loves to sit in the window and listen to the birds. She enjoys chasing after the wand toy and will play with plushies while you sleep, leading to your barefoot surprises when you get out of bed. She is energetic and happy and loud and friendly.
