    Join us on Saturday, June 20 at Veterans Park for Pet Walk Milwaukee, our largest run/walk and outdoor celebration supporting the Wisconsin Humane Society!

    Every registration, donation, vendor booth, and sponsorship fuels WHS programs that serve more than 65,000 animals and people each year. Whether you’re up for a timed 5K run/walk or a leisurely 1-mile stroll, join us for a mission-filled morning on Milwaukee’s lakefront enjoying live music, family-friendly activities, great food, a vibrant vendor village, and the chance to truly make a difference.

    All proceeds from Pet Walk Milwaukee support the Wisconsin Humane Society.

    Everyone can help. You can make a difference. Start your own team, join an existing team or participate as an individual.  Not able to participate on June 20, but still want to help? Become a “Virtual Walker” and raise funds for the animals from anywhere!

    Shop ’till you drop at the annual rummage sale to benefit the WHS Door County Campus at the Arle Memorial Hall in Sturgeon Bay!

    Event Details:

    • Thursday, April 30 
      Donation drop off at the Arle Memorial Hall from 4 – 8 p.m.
    • Friday, May 1 
      Donation drop off 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
      Shop from 12 – 6 p.m.
    • Saturday, May 2 
      Shop 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
      Clearance Sale starts at noon (anything you can fit into a bag for $2! Bag provided)

    Item/Donation Drop Off Details:

    We are seeking donations of new or clean, gently used items to sell. Please refrain from bringing rummage sale items to the shelter, as we do not have the space to safely store and transport them. You can drop off rummage sale items at the Arle Memorial Hall on Thursday, April 30 from 4 – 8 p.m. and Friday, May 1 from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. and receive a tax donation receipt if you’d like!

    ***Unfortunately, we are unable to accept large appliances, clothing, computer towers, televisions, or large furniture. Clean and gently used items only, please. (However, we are able to accept flat screen computer monitors in working condition, as well as a few other exceptions. Please call if you have any questions!)

    Green Bay Rockers Baseball Game

    Join us for a Sunday afternoon of baseball and fun! The Wisconsin Humane Society was selected as the Non-Profit of the Night and will be there hosting a 50/50 raffle! (50% goes to the winner and the other 50% comes back to WHS.)

    There are specially priced tickets for our group at just $15/each and include a FREE hat. In addition, WHS receives $7 back from each ticket purchased. It’s a win-win!

When you register, you’re helping provide medical care, shelter, and support for the more than 65,000 animals and families served by WHS each year. Whether you attend solo or with a 4-legged friend, there’s fun in store for everyone!

  • Pet Telethon 2026

    Mark your calendars for FOX6 & Wisconsin Humane Society’s Pet Telethon!

    Benefiting animals in our community, the Pet Telethon will be broadcast live on FOX6 News (WITI-TV) in Milwaukee from 6 – 11 a.m., reaching an audience of about 57,000 viewers. (Can’t tune in? Livestream the show here!) Between the Puppy Play Pen and the other animal guests throughout the morning, you won’t want to miss it! We will be broadcasting live from the FOX6 Studios and the WHS Milwaukee Campus throughout the morning.

    All funds raised will directly support the more than 65,000 animals and their families served by the Wisconsin Humane Society each year. WHS does not receive any general government funding, and is not part of any national umbrella group.

    How to help:

    1. Donate online to the Telethon fund
    2. Text WHS to 91999 to donate on your smartphone
    3. Tune in to FOX6 from 6-11 a.m. on March 20 (or watch via livestream) and call our phone bank to donate – volunteers will be standing by ready to take your calls all morning long!
