The animals listed below are not currently available for adoption, but instead are looking for foster families to take them in until they’re ready for homes of their own! And yes, foster parents get first dibs on adopting their houseguest if they fall in love. 😉

It only takes about 15 minutes to apply and our team will get back to you as soon as possible! Please note that you are applying to become a WHS foster volunteer, not applying to foster a specific animal. Once you join the Rachael Ray™ Nutrish® Foster Program at the Wisconsin Humane Society, you’ll be able to see a full list of all animals searching for foster families and choose whom you’d like to temporarily welcome into your home. We can’t wait for you to join us!
