Ginger

Hello! My name is Ginger, but my foster family calls me Mr. Bun Bun. I am a beautiful male Californian rabbit. I'm not big on being picked up. I like to hop around on my own and be on all fours. I'm a very independent guy. I have been asked if I'm blind because of my red eyes, but I can see just fine!

I love food and toys. I will always come right up to you for a treat. I am not picky on what it is. I came from a place that didn't give me attention at all when I was a baby, which is why I like to stay on my own without being picked up. I like to explore my pen, or any enclosed area, but I ask not to be left outside. I'm not too messy so I think we can get along inside together.

My foster mom tries to keep me busy with balls, sticks and pinecones she finds outside, and trying to hide my veggie treats, but I find them every time. I am not that messy, but sometimes I push all my toys and bowls around. The kids think it's so funny how I pick up stuff and toss it. And as I said before, I'm not messy. I always use a litterbox and if I do spill my food bowl, I will usually eat it anyway.

So, if you're looking for a companion to hang out with, then I'm your Bun Bun! Don't let my awesome red eyes deceive you. I'd love to see your home and spend time with you!

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
