I'm a shy, gentle boy who likes a quiet life of contemplation. I enjoy looking out the window and lap time with my people when I am sure I can trust you. I like to be in the same room with my foster parent, and if I'm not, all you have to do is call my name and I'll come running! I do ok with other gentle kitties but I do love having all your attention and a nice, relaxed quiet home environment. Cheek, chin and belly scratches make me so happy!
I don't like a lot of change in my life and I'm a bit spooked by new situations or people. Limiting me to one room of your home (at first) may help me feel safe. I have come a long way from when I got into my foster home. When I first arrived, I chose to hide under the bed, but I now sleep with my foster parent and spend most of my time in the living areas. However, you will need to have patience, giving me the time to continue flourishing at my own speed.
This animal is one of the over 3,500 animals the Wisconsin Humane Society places into foster care each year.
