Teacher Resources

Building a kind community for both people and animals begins with our youngest citizens.

Teachers play a valuable role in encouraging the development of pro-social skills like compassion and empathy and helping young people connect to community resources like the Wisconsin Humane Society. We want to partner with you! Check out some of the services we offer to educators for students of all ages.

Field Trips and Programs

We offer both in-person and virtual programs for students K4 - Grade 12. Our fun and engaging programs align with state and national standards AND make learning fun.

Summer Camp Scholarship Program: Teachers or mentors can nominate a student in grades 1-9 in need of financial assistance who they think will benefit from a summer camp experience. A summer camp scholarship provides young people the opportunity to attend summer camp at no cost. CLICK HERE to learn more and submit your nomination form.

It's our WHS Day of Giving!

Donations are being doubled in honor of Day of Giving! Our shelters are overwhelmed with animals who need us as their last resort, and the cost of care is only rising. By making a gift of any size before 11:59 p.m. on 5/8, your donation will be automatically MATCHED up to $30,000 in memory of Charlie and Carol James, who were dear friends of WHS.
