Why the animal is being rehomed: I recently separated from my boyfriend and we rescued Rocky while living in Arizona. He moved into a home that doesn't allow dogs. Due to my schedule I do not have the time to dedicate and fully give Rocky the attention and play time he needs and deserves. He is a very active and energetic dog. He deserves to be in a forever home where he will be able to live his best life.

What should the next family should know about Rocky: Rocky is a very sweet loving puppy. He is still young at 1 years old and still has some training to do. We put him through standard puppy training classes. For training he is very influenced with treats. He is house and potty trained, I leave him free at home for hours while at work and he just sleeps. Travels in cars very well. He has a lot of energy and should go to a home ideally with a large backyard area to run and play or with someone who has the time and energy to play with him. He still mouths quite a bit especially when being introduced to new people or seeing you after you've been gone for a while, it's not a hard bite but rather a softer mouth hold. He also needs to learn not to jump up on people and walk nice on a short leash. Currently he walks on a longer retractable leash and sometimes pulls. He love chewing and biting so we have plenty of harder gnaw chew toys for him. He's still very trainable and loves to learn. He also loves attention and being pet and cuddled. He will make a great family or working dog. Rocky is wonderful and I love him but I know I cannot provide the best life for him for long term and believe re-homing him is in his best interest.
