My two favorite things about Polly: She loves to cuddle (if for only brief moments) We really enjoy playing with her, at first they said she doesn't play at all but we have had lots of fun afternoons with her playing.
Contact Info: jappel29@gmail.com 920-737-5370

Current Location: Sister Bay, WI
Is Polly spayed or neutered? yes
Is Polly up to date on vaccinations? yes
Why the animal is being rehomed: Our place we live in is just way to noisy for her. We live right in the major traffic area for downtown and seems to never be able to settle down and is always scared. She does very well on quiet days, but as we head into summer we fear that she will just become more anxious. We want her to be able to enjoy somewhere that is a little more quiet and with people that can give her the same loving as we have.
What are your two favorite things about Polly? She loves to cuddle (if for only brief moments) We really enjoy playing with her, at first they said she doesn't play at all but we have had lots of fun afternoons with her playing.
How long have you had Polly? 4 months
Where did you get Polly? Door County Humane Society
Has Polly ever bitten someone? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: If at all it has been playful nibbling
What, if any, medical or behavioral concerns does Polly have? We are still finding the right food, she at first was puking with hair and whole food but we have gotten that toned down. She has been biting out the fur on her back occasionally. I believe once she has found a calmer home the fast eating and puking will stop all together.
Has Polly lived with other animals? Yes
If yes to the above, which animals has Polly lived with? In the shelter she was roomed with another cat.
Has Polly actively fought with other animals in the home? No
Does/did Polly hide from other animals in the home? No
How does Polly interact with animals outside of the home? She seemed fine with the other cat at the shelter. We have cats that pas through our back area and she meows in interest when they go by.
Are you requiring that Polly not go into a family with certain types of pets? No
If yes to the above, please explain which types of pets you are restricting: Just be aware we have no idea how she will react with other animals
Has Polly lived with any children under 18? No
Does/did Polly hide or avoid children in the home? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: She hides when any new person comes in, but after awhile she comes out and seems to be very friendly with people. She has the tendency to just be cautious with people for a little while.
Does/did Polly display any forms of aggression toward children in the home? No
Are you requiring that Polly not go into a family with children under a certain age? No
Does Polly have any fears? Loud unknown noises. If she can see what is going on she does a little better.
Polly's overall activity level: Moderately active
What should the next family should know about Polly: She just needs to be in a quieter neighborhood. Noises are not a huge problem but she just won't go up on our windows to look out. At the shelter see loved looking out the windows and it may be because we are 2 stories up. She is a very lovable cat and loves to rub up against our faces and show lots of love. We just want her to find a better home with a more comforting environment. This is not something easy for us to do, but we don't want her to be always uncomfortable with the surroundings that are in our very loud neighborhood.
