Why the animal is being rehomed: We have been taking an increasing number of weekend trips, and, in addition to that, our post-work schedules have become busier as well. We feel that the cats would be happier with more human attention than they’re getting now. They’re wonderful animals, and they deserve better than what we have to offer for the foreseeable future.

What should the next family should know about Zara (must be adopted with Boutros): Zara is more of a lone ranger and will approach you for cuddles when she wants them. She doesn't mind being picked up and/or held, though, if you're in the mood. Along with the cats themselves, we would provide two covered litter boxes (less than 3 months old), a climbing tower (short enough that it won’t injure Zara if she jumps off), a small hut, various toys, two “scratch pad” type toys, their food and water dishes (both are of the “open feed” variety), and their carrying cases.
