What are your two favorite things about Ned? Cuddles during the winter months on the couch and in bed & loves to play with our dog
How long have you had Ned? 4 years
Where did you get Ned? Greenville SC Humane Society as a kitten
Has Ned ever bitten someone? No
What, if any, medical or behavioral concerns does Ned have? Ned started to become stressed while I was pregnant and configuring the nursery and since our daughter was born has twice developed blood in his urine, which unfortunately has no cure. He is currently on an anti-depressant, receives wet food, has a large tower, along with other interventions to help reduce his stress. Unfortunately, they do think this may continue to be an issue if he is in an environment where he is stressed. They started him the medication and also recommended a stress-relieving food, but unfortunately cannot afford either of these items long-term with an infant to take care of.
Has Ned lived with other animals? Yes
If yes to the above, which animals has Ned lived with? Dog- 7 years old; lived with miniature australian shepherd since he was a kitten - they get along VERY well and are actually best friends. They are constantly playing and wrestling.

Does/did Ned hide from other animals in the home? No
How does Ned interact with animals outside of the home? We have had other dogs visit on occassion and he is usually timid at first, but then warms up to them

Does/did Ned hide or avoid children in the home? No
Does/did Ned display any forms of aggression toward children in the home? No
Are you requiring that Ned not go into a family with children under a certain age? Yes
If yes to the above, please list your restrictions: He would probably do best with older children in a less hectic environment
Ned's overall activity level: Sedentary/low energy
What should the next family should know about Ned: As mentioned above he has anxiety- he can be very sweet and typically just lays around the house all day, but we have had issues twice now with urinating blood that the doctor's believe is due to anxiety.
