My two favorite things about Daisy: Daisy is a lover. She will "kiss" you by licking your hand and even your face if you get down on the floor to her level. She will let you pet her for as long as you want. If I'm doing dishes at the sink or making dinner, she will come up to me and nudge my toes with her nose letting me know that she wants some loving, so I pet her head with my foot if my hands are busy. If you pet her from her nose up to the area between her ears, she'll almost melt into the floor.
Contact Info: 9203662299

Current Location: Seymour, WI
Is Daisy spayed or neutered? yes
Is Daisy up to date on vaccinations? Not Sure
Why the animal is being rehomed: My 19-year-old son purchased Daisy without asking our permission. Once my son turned 20, he moved out and could not take the bunny where he was going to live, so I ended up taking care of her. I love her so much, but my husband and I want to travel and do not have anyone close by to take care of Daisy while we're gone. Also, my health issues make it difficult to clean Daisy's litter box. She is a wonderful bunny and just loves to be pet. I have indoor fencing as well as additional fencing to create her pen which you will receive if you adopt her. She needs to eat approximately 90% hay, so I make sure her litter box always has fresh hay in it in the morning when I let her out of her pen, and when I put her in her pen for the night. Daisy MAY enjoy living with another, laid-back bunny. She likes to come by you, when you are on the couch or floor, to cuddle. She likes to play but only has me.

How long have you had Daisy? I have been caring for Daisy for 1.5 years. She is now 2 years old.
Where did you get Daisy? My son purchased her from a pet store in Appleton, WI.
Has Daisy ever bitten someone? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: Not applicable.
What, if any, medical or behavioral concerns does Daisy have? None.
Has Daisy lived with other animals? Yes
If yes to the above, which animals has Daisy lived with? 16-year-old cat for approximately 3 months.
Has Daisy actively fought with other animals in the home? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: Not applicable.
Does/did Daisy hide from other animals in the home? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: Not applicable.
How does Daisy interact with animals outside of the home? Daisy does NOT go outside. She is strictly an indoor bunny. She is litter trained, drinks water from a bowl as well as the usual watering bottle that comes with the cage. If she were to be put outside, she would be scared to death.
Are you requiring that Daisy not go into a family with certain types of pets? Yes
If yes to the above, please explain which types of pets you are restricting: I think Daisy would have difficulty with dogs (big or small) and aggressive cats. She did well with our 16-year-old cat when she was first brought home by my son. She is very laid back but startles easily by loud noises and it will take a bit for her to get used to her new environment.
Has Daisy lived with any children under 18? No
Does/did Daisy hide or avoid children in the home? Yes
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: I am guessing that she would for children under the age of 10 years.
Does/did Daisy display any forms of aggression toward children in the home? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: If you pet her back-end only, she will grunt a warning that she doesn't like it. She will also spin around. The same holds true if you brush her. She HATES that. She also does not like to be picked up (she becomes very scared when you hold her back feet). She may scratch when trying to get down if you pick up, but she has never bitten.
Are you requiring that Daisy not go into a family with children under a certain age? Yes
If yes to the above, please list your restrictions: Probably best not to go into a home with children under 10 years of age.
Does Daisy have any fears? Daisy is afraid of loud noises, being picked up and held, being brushed, and of being chased.
Daisy's overall activity level: Sedentary/low energy
What should the next family should know about Daisy: Daisy is a very loving, laid-back bunny. I would not be giving her up if I wouldn't be traveling or dealing with health issues. My house is bunny-proofed and she uses her litter box, so she really is a loving, adorable, fun pet. She gets excited when she sees you coming into the room and will do "binkies" (my son would call the maneuver, "popcorning") where she will run toward you, put her ears back, and jump completely off the floor and wiggle back-and-forth while in the air! It is the cutest thing!
