Maple has been selected to participate in one of our WHS-hosted birthday parties that emphasize the importance of treating animals with respect and kindness. The Wisconsin Humane Society offers birthday party packages for children ages 6-12. All packages include a party host, customized invitations, cake, juice, decorations, a tour of the shelter, and interactions with adoptable animals. Pizza parties and T-shirts are available upon request. Parties are offered Saturdays at our Milwaukee, Racine, and Ozaukee Campuses and are subject to availability. All proceeds benefit the animals!
We've made Maple "On Deck" so that she can meet with potential families during our regular operating hours. Adopters can place her on an adoption hold; however, she can't leave the building until her important birthday party work is done on Saturday. Maple is changing the lives of young kids; won't you change Maple's life?

Maple is (9) weeks old, soulful, crazy smart, has learned several basic commands, is going potty outside almost exclusively and is otherwise using puppy pads with few mistakes. She thrives on a structured, predictable schedule, which has built her confidence. She is crate training, sleeping 5 hours continuously at night, and napping in her crate with little resistance. She is feisty, funny, food motivated, sweet, and easily bonds to humans. She is respectful around the senior resident dogs, and is not showing any signs of resource guarding. She loves gentle belly tickles, and will drift into nap mode on your lap. She is truly a gift, and her adopter will be so lucky!
