Coffee - Video, Staff Pick & Benchwarmer!

This dog is one of the many wonderful animals available for adoption at WHS. Despite their great looks and lovable personality, they have not found a new home yet and have become a benchwarmer. To get them back in the game and into a home, we have reduced their adoption fee. We know they will make a great addition to someone’s family – come meet them today!

Coffee is Hope's Staff Pick! Sweet senior Coffee is ready for a quiet home to fill with her love. She is a wonderful medium-sized and lower energy gal! She is a very polite walker outside and doesn't seem bothered by anything. She'll even go outside in the rain and loves a nice towel rub after! Coffee can be wary of new people at first, but if you give her a bit of space and patience, she will show you what a sweetheart she is. Despite her age, she still has pep in her step and loves to play with toys, especially tug and fetch! If you're looking for a mellow companion to take on strolls or snuggle with on the sofa, then Coffee may be the one for you!

Coffee went out to foster on a shelter break and this is what her foster parent had to say about her:
"Coffee is the chillest dog I have ever met. She is just the sweetest girl. Her favorite things were cuddling on the couch and in the bed. She did not guard her food at all, and she ate both her wet and dry food. She was really well-behaved in the car and on walks. She is very strong, though, so be aware of that when she is walking. She is fully house trained and had no accidents in the house. She was also great when I had to leave her in a crate if I left. She is just the most precious creature! She does not bark, but when she wants to play she will very politely "chatter" at you until you give her attention. She's also a great "gym dog." She sat with me very patiently when I was working out in my home gym."
