Echo

Echo spent some time in one of our foster homes and here is what his foster parent had to say about him:

I just brought Echo home today so I'm still getting to know him, but one thing I know for sure is this man is a LAP DOG through and through; he thinks he's half his size the way he just plops on top of me on the couch! He is the sweetest boy ever, and in the foster home allows all sorts of handling with no problem: paws, ears, mouth, and lifting up into the car. I live on a street where lots of people walk past with their dogs, and he has been loving looking out the window at everyone! He has not barked at any people or dogs. He did amazing in the car, laid right down in the kennel and was quiet and calm the whole way home. He is still working on his leash manners and will need someone strong to walk him.

Stop by the Ozaukee Campus to meet Echo!

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
