Spooky - Video

Spooky is available from a foster home in the Racine area.

A pretty caramel colored tabby who would love to live with another cat or two. In her foster home, she is learning that she adores a good brushing. Spending time in the shelter after being rescued was exceptionally scary for her. In a foster home, she decided she actually really likes being pet, but she needs humans who will go slow so she can get to know them. Interestingly, the second she found out there were resident cats in the home, she was beyond thrilled! It was as if she felt comfort in seeing her own type. in our home, she is super eager to spend time with the resident cats, she was instantly very affectionate with both of them, and she acts comfortable and confident with humans as long as another cat is nearby. It seems that being with another cat makes her feel safe.

She now shows full appreciation for a fluffy blanket or a blanket pile, the kind of thing she didn't get to experience outside. When meeting this lovely girl, be patient with her nervousness. She starts out slow but she is curious about all toys and is ultimately looking for affection from a gentle hand.
