Lincoln has been spending time in one of our wonderful foster homes. He is now ready for adoption. Here's what his foster family has to say about his beautiful boy:

"Looking for a super soft and easy going lap buddy? Lincoln is your guy! He was immediately comfortable in our foster room and was on my lap purring and ‘baking biscuits' as soon as he checked everything out. If you stop petting him, he will gently give your hand a nudge to politely ask for more. His favorite napping place is on a nice soft fleece blanket.

When it's go time, he will chase a ping pong ball around the room and play with catnip toys. He almost looks like a little cheetah, with his beautiful spotted coat. In our home he also does really well with the scratching post and litter box.

If you would like more information about handsome Lincoln, or to set up a time to meet him at our home near the Ozaukee Campus, please email"

Thank you!

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
