Cal is friendly, curious and excited to play with toys and forage for tasty snacks. She is happy to let you pet her while she is eating or if you approach her calmly and slowly from the front so she can see you approach. She doesn't love being held, but she will let you pick her up to move her from her cage to carrier of necessary and she's learning how to sit on your lap if you sit down next to her. She would make a great addition to any household. She is comfortable with cats, dogs and other rabbits. She is mostly uninterested in them as long as they aren't eating her snacks! Take this sweet girl home with you today! But please keep in mind though they love a bit of sun rabbits should be kept inside as they are very sensitive to heat and cold.

Please email foster parent at for more information.

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
