Hi my name is Zooty. I arrived at the Wisconsin Humane Society as an outdoor cat so I was pretty scared. Then when I went to my Foster family's home, I didn't know what to do, so I hid. This wasn't at all like the barn I had been living in. I had my own room with a comfy bed, lots of toys and most important some places for me to hide. After a little while someone found my hiding place and slowly a hand came in and began to pet me! WHOA!! I felt scared but I kind of liked it so I allowed it.

I've come a long way since those days of hiding. Now I like to sit on my foster Mom's lap and watch TV with her. I'm still hesitant with visitors but we are working on that. I would like a nice quiet forever home with someone who will be patient with me and respect my shy ways. I would probably do best in a home with adults only.
