Skitty - Available in Foster!

My name is Skitty and I am just hanging out in a foster home until my perfect person finds me. I am a Hidden Treasure and I may be super shy when you first meet me, but I'm worth all the coaxing and sweet talk. I do appreciate my alone time, sometimes hiding under the bed, but once I am used to my new home, I will come out to solicit pets and love. After you adopt me, don't be surprised if the first thing I do is investigate all the great places to hide! Not everyone is a confident kitty to start, but with a little love and patience, I'll come out of my turtle shell and it'll be such a rewarding experience for the both of us, I may even cozy up right on top of you.

If you are interested in learning more about me, you can contact my foster mom at: and she can tell you all about me.

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
