Kubo will be featured on NBC26 Today on February 18!

Thank you for visiting my profile! My name's Kubo and I'm blind. I can't see you, but you clicked on my page, so I know you have great taste. The behavior team labeled me a couch potato, and it's true, I'm just a big softy who will gladly sleep the days away with you. I'm a bit hefty... the vet says I could use some exercise. So, if you need motivation to get up and get moving, we could do that together! I have been mostly an outdoor dog, so I still need a little bit of help with my inside manners. I know my blindness might seem daunting, but I pinky promise that I'm worth taking a chance on. I'm just a happy cuddle bug, and I would really love to go home with you.

While in the shelter I have displayed some behaviors associated with barrier reactivity, but don't let that deter you! Just ask an adoption counselor how you can help me manage and overcome this behavior! I'm rated PG-8 due to sensitivity about my eyes - only respectful, older children, please!

Please Note

Every animal is an individual and WHS works hard to make great matches for our animals and adopters.  Some animals may have placement restrictions or requirements established by WHS based on shelter observations and previous home histories.  When meeting with your adoption counselor, they review each animal’s medical, behavior, and placement needs with you to help you find an animal who is compatible with your home environment and your lifestyle.  There are no time limits at WHS, all animals in adoption have as long as it takes to find a new loving home.  Stop in and speak with our adoption counseling team today – we look forward to meeting with you.
