Cause Kidnapped
Riley, the Painted Turtle, is being treated in our Wildlife Rehabilitation Center after being kidnapped by a misinfomed indiviual who thought he would make a good pet. Wild animals do not make good pets. Riley found his way here, and luckily for him, he is was only kept for a short period of time and is healthy enough to be released. However, turtles need time to prepare for hibernation and since we're in Wisconsin, it is too cold to release him now. We are over-wintering Riley and will release him in the spring, back into the wild where he belongs. You can sponsor Riley to help provide food and medical care by clicking on the link below!

Every donation made to the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center helps save more animals. Please consider sponsoring me.   It takes a lot of help to feed my friends and I. Please consider donating an item needed to help care for me.
