My two favorite things about Hazel: Affectionate, sweet demeanor. Ability to adapt fairly quickly to new surroundings (coming from outside stray to indoor life). She was very nervous at first but adapted well and quite quickly. She started using liter box immediately and has had no accidents or signs of spraying.

What are your two favorite things about Hazel? Affectionate, sweet demeanor. Ability to adapt fairly quickly to new surroundings (coming from outside stray to indoor life). She was very nervous at first but adapted well and quite quickly. She started using liter box immediately and has had no accidents or signs of spraying.
How long have you had Hazel? 1-2 weeks
Where did you get Hazel? She was a stray I was feeding behind my house. I was surprised at her friendly social demeanor. I felt I had to try to save her from outdoor life due to her unique , friendly personality.
Has Hazel ever bitten someone? No
If yes to the above, please explain the circumstances: She will only lightly bite and scratch when overstimulated from play but it is gentle and my current cat did the same thing at her age and never does now.
What, if any, medical or behavioral concerns does Hazel have? None known
Has Hazel lived with other animals? No

Has Hazel actively fought with other animals in the home? No
Does/did Hazel hide from other animals in the home? No
How does Hazel interact with animals outside of the home? Curious but can get frightened too
Are you requiring that Hazel not go into a family with certain types of pets? Yes
If yes to the above, please explain which types of pets you are restricting: I think it would be best if she is adopted to a house with no pets unless you are experienced and confident that other animals will be accepting and not stress her too much.
Has Hazel lived with any children under 18? No
Does/did Hazel hide or avoid children in the home? No
Does/did Hazel display any forms of aggression toward children in the home? No
Are you requiring that Hazel not go into a family with children under a certain age? Yes
If yes to the above, please list your restrictions: No kids in general would be best but certainly none under 10 .
Does Hazel have any fears? I am they only person she knows at this point and I think she will be afraid of strangers at first. I am going to try to get her use to others in the coming days/weeks. She is shy at first and will be scared of loud noises at first but with reassurance and a gentle touch im pretty certain she will be ok.
Hazel's overall activity level: Very active/high energy
What should the next family should know about Hazel: Very sweet and affectionate and loves to play . She needs someone willing to take time st first to bond with her and gain her confidence and trust slowly. If that is done properly with a gentle caring hand I know she will be a wonderful life long companion. Please help!
