WISCONSIN HUMANE SOCIETY TO PROVIDE
FREE HARNESSES TO PIT BULL GUARDIANS
Prong, choke or shock collar trade-in event
scheduled for April 23


MILWAUKEE – Pit Bull guardians in Milwaukee can get a FREE humane harness in exchange for their prong, choke or shock collars at a special event to be held by the Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Washington Park.

WHS is hosting a Pit Fest-A-Bull to provide information to families with Pit Bulls and encourage them to help their dogs always put their best paw forward. The event will feature educational tools to help families responsibly care for their Pit Bull, including information about low-cost spay/neuter programs and a free humane “SENSE-ible” harness for each guardian who brings in a prong, choke, or shock collar.

The first 50 attendees will get a free grab bag and there will be raffle prizes! The public is encouraged to attend this free event to learn about programs and services available for their dogs in the community.
