Chloe the puppy with broken pelvis needs public's help

MILWAUKEE – The Wisconsin Humane Society is asking for the public’s help in saving a 5-month-old Collie puppy who needs surgery to repair a fractured pelvis. The puppy, Chloe, came to WHS Thursday night from the Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission, where she had been originally been brought to as a stray puppy. She has a severely fractured pelvis after being struck by a car, and costs for her surgery and care are expected to reach $3,000.

A campaign has been started by No Kill Milwaukee, a local animal advocacy group, and you can make a donation for Chloe’s care on their site, or on the Wisconsin Humane Society’s website.

Note: Chloe is at the orthopedic surgeon’s today, and possibly through the weekend, so she will not be available for filming. However, please see the attached pictures of this adorable pup.
