Extreme Makeover, Puppy Haven Edition!

MILWAUKEE - Watch as dogs from Puppy Haven Kennels are beautifully transformed at the Wisconsin Humane Society! These dogs deserve the best and they'll get it as they go from sullen to studly and dreary to divine! Be sure to stop in Dog Town on Friday, October 10 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and watch these amazing makeovers. Each dog will also receive a blueberry facial!

The Wisconsin Humane Society has already adopted 950 Puppy Haven dogs and many others are still awaiting new homes. This month, WHS is holding special events to help place 500 dogs in recognition of Adopt-a-Dog-Month! Portable Pet Groomers will be at WHS today, volunteering time to pamper and groom dogs who so deserve it!

Puppy Haven Kennels was the largest puppy breeding facility in Wisconsin. In July, WHS announced plans to buy and close the kennels. The unprecedented move was the first of its kind in the United States.
