Raising the Woof at Miller Park

 

MILWAUKEE— It’s not often they let a dog on the field at Miller Park, but this is for a very special occasion! Representatives from the Wisconsin Humane Society will be accepting a check for $750.00 from the Milwaukee Sportservice at Miller Park. The food service company had a carnival for employees to raise money for the animals at the shelter. 244 items from WHS’ Wish List were also brought in and donated by employees.
On Wednesday night, WHS staff members will be escorted by an adoptable dog, Bernie Brewer, onto the field to accept the donation during a special pre-game ceremony.

 

WHAT: Wisconsin Humane Society accepts donation on-field at Miller Park

WHEN: Wednesday, July 18, 2007; 6:30-7:00p.m. Donation ceremony

INTEREST: A WHS representative will be available to speak with the media
regarding the donation. Bernie Brewer, a dog currently up for adoption
at WHS will also be available for filming and comment.
