MEDIA ADVISORY/PHOTO OPPORTUNITY
It’s a Wild Baby Shower and You’re Invited!
FOR: Orphaned baby wild animals – cottontails, raccoons, gray squirrels, opossums, mallard ducklings and other types of baby birds – being cared for at the Wisconsin Humane Society’s Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Gifts are encouraged.

WHEN: Friday, July 6: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. AND Saturday, July 7: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
No RSVP is required.
WHY: Like the rest of the Wisconsin Humane Society, the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center is funded entirely through donations. Last year, the Center treated nearly 5,500 wild animals; 60% of them were orphaned babies.

- CASH DONATIONS Monetary donations will be used for wildlife baby formula, mealworms, smelt and medication.
- WILDLIFE SUPPLIES Fresh or frozen raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, dry puppy chow (any variety not on recall lists), finch seed, sunflower seed, Eukanuba or Purina kitten chow, cracked and whole kernel corn, unsalted nuts, peanuts, paper plates, paper towels, cotton balls and bleach
