Spooky's Tale of Abandonment

MILWAUKEE – Six-year-old Spooky was found abandoned in a garage with only moldy dog food to eat. Spooky's name suits him well because when he was found, it was quite evident he was frightened of anyone who came in his path.

The individual who found the black domestic shorthair feline gave him to a man she knew to temporarily care for the cat. However, while in the man's care, Spooky received a head injury and chipped tooth.

Finally, Spooky was brought to safe territory at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Upon his arrival, Spooky received a thorough medical examination by a WHS veterinarian.

Despite the abandonment Spooky endured, his spirits are coming around. He is waiting for the day when a caring family will adopt him and give him a loving home with all the necessities needed to sustain a good life.

For more information about Spooky, please call the Wisconsin Humane Society at (414) ANIMALS.  Additional information about the Wisconsin Humane Society can be obtained by visiting www.wihumane.org.
